Turkey-Greece Ferries

All Services Index

During the summer season there are daily ferry services between several of the Aegean resorts and the closer Greek islands, a map showing the routes available is here. The Turkish ferries are mainly for tourist 'day-trips' and leave between 08:30 and 10:00 returning late afternoon, advance passenger booking is recommended. Car ferry services do not operate on all services and also may not be every day so it is essential to check availability and to make a reservation in advance.

Greek departure taxes are waived for the return journey on all day trips originating in Turkey. All other departures from Greece including 'open ticket' returns on another day will have to pay a departure tax of approximately €12, per person directly to the Greek port authorities. Turkish taxes are included in all our prices. Greek taxes are NOT included.

During the low season between November and April, the Turkish Bodrum-Kos ferry is the only scheduled vehicle and passenger service available between Greece and Turkey.
