Answer: We offer several payment options. On receipt of payment we send you a printable electronic ticket which will be exchanged for a Finance Ministry approved official ticket at the ferry check in reception desk.

Answer: Yes we may also offer the option with our booking details to pay by bank transfer to our accounts in Turkey or by Western Union Money Transfer in either Euros, US Dollars, GBP Sterling, AU Dollars or Turkish Lira.

Answer: No, our prices are the same as those offered by the ferry company either direct or through their website. There are several advantages to booking with us including: more payment options and the opportunity to book and pay for all your other travel and accommodation services at the same time. Aegean Ferry Services is part of Aegean Tour Travel so all your reservations can be made through one company.

terminal?
Answer: All passengers should be at the terminal at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Passenger with vehicles should check-in 1 hour before the scheduled departure time. Please be sure to have all required vehicle documentation available for inspection by Customs.

take vehicles?
Answer: There are only scheduled vehicle services on the Bodrum-Kos and Cesme-Chios ferries. Ferries carrying vehicles sometimes operate on other routes, however these only operate depending on demand and in most cases cannot be pre-booked. The Cesme-Chios ferry is the only service able to accommodate vehicles higher than 2 meters.

Answer: Discounts vary between the various companies and crossings, details are included on the relevant ferry information pages. (See the Turkey-Greece ferry links below).

included in the ticket price?
Answer: Port taxes are included in the ticket price for all ferries departing from Turkey, including the return crossing on day-return trips from Turkey. Period return tickets from Turkey include only the departure port tax from Turkey, Greek port tax for the return crossing is not included, this is payable directly to the Greek authorities on departure from Greece.
