Yalikavak-Samos

This ferry service was suspended in July 2008 because of a lack of support. We are leaving the details here in the hope that as people become aware of the possibility of a direct service between Bodrum and Samos, demand may make the reinstatement of the service viable.

Notes

  • The price of a period return is twice the single fare.

  • Day returns from Yalikavak leave at 07:30 and return from Samos at 18:30.

  • Day returns from Samos leave at 09:15 and return at 16:30.

  • For those wishing to stay more than one day on Samos it is possible to return to Turkey via the Vathy-Kusadasi daily summer season ferry.

Discounts

These discounts relate only to the Yalikavak-Samos hydrofoil service:

  • Infants 0 to 5 years old are free, the date of birth is considered, port tax of 3 Euros is payable.
  • Children from 6 to 11 years old, less 50%, the date of birth is considered.

Please Note:

  • Discounts cannot be combined.
  • If discounts apply they will be included in our quotation.
  • Proof of eligibility will be required for discounts to be applied.

Port Taxes

Port taxes are as follows:

  • Included in the quoted price for departures from Turkey or Greece.
  • Included in the quoted price for day-return trips between Turkey and Greece.
  • Payable by children 0 to 5 years old who travel free.
